| By: Guest | Posted on: Sep 15 2013 at 07:46:03 PM | The control is probably mitsubishi but as far as dnc settings are concerned it'll be quite simply a case of making sure the baud rate setting in easyDnc is the same as the traub and 7bits even parity. Make sure the traub is set to transmit/output ISO (Not EIA)
And leave the rest of easyDnc settings at their defaults (auto).
As for the DNC cable. If you look at
Traub DNC Setup
you'll see a slight difference between the suggested mitsubishi and the traub cables. They're not actually different, though, just unused pins wired differently. So either of them will work. | |

The CNC console has both 'IN' and 'OUT' buttons but I discovered that I didn't actually need the IN button. I'd just punch out the remo 'runner' to request whatever cnc program I wanted to run and then just stand back and even though the traub still has its 'out' mode it still accepts, reads in, the program being sent from the DNC computer. | |

Sounds strange having the traub in OUT mode when you send a file from the PC. But on our traub that was the the only way i could get a file into the traub. | |
