I tried the free trial a few months ago and I couldn't get it to work. I would like to make sure it works before I purchase anything.

Also, in your email, please describe the problem you had before. I mean did it show any errors on the computer or on the CNC?

You have the USB plugged in but it looks as though your computer did NOT configure drivers for the Serial Device.
In the DNC Setup, in the upper right corner of the window, your version of easyDNC should display a list of serial ports in your computer. In your case the list is empty. No serial port exist.
A USB/Serial device is actually 2 devices in one. When you plug it in to the computer it will sometimes detect and configure the USB part of the device but fail to enable the Serial part of the device.
Go to the manufacturer's website (I sent a link by email) and download and install the device drivers. Once you've installed the device driver the serial port should should appear in that list so you can select it.

hey I downloaded a trial and I did not have a USB-C to RS232. now my trial is up but I just received my adapter, I would like to try to make sure my cable works before buying to software. can I get another code? mmn***@***il.com
