Topic: Transfer problem heidenhain

I have a problem with tranfer cnc program. When i send a program to the pc i dont see the program at the screen. The only thing i see on the pc when i punch a program at the control is 4z~
It looks like the program isnt sent at all.
Ive use the cable just as on the manual (on machine 25pin pc 9pin)
Heidenhain tnc355
Machineparameter 71=515 222=104 232=0 baud rate 2400 rs232c interface on FE
The computer has windows 10 download easydnc from the site with the 60 days trial nummer for try if it works.
Format= default baud rate= 2400 data bits and paraty= 7 bits even parity stop bits= 2 flow control= rts/cts(hardware) end of block= crlf tx timeout= never(default) block delay= 5
ASCII start code=stx (02)
ASCII end code= etx (03)
Ive never workt with any interface or dnc with this machine since ive bought it.

| By: Guest | Posted on: Aug 5 2020 at 10:23:03 AM | I don't have a Heidenhain but looking at the manual I think that X26 is the actual connection on the processor board while V.24 is the connector on the outside of the machine/control casing.
The manual sounds like it's saying that X26 is connected directly to the V24 anyway.
So. With that in mind. Connect to V24 But look inside the machine. Is the inside of the V24 just hanging? or can you follow it through to X26
Although there does seem to be some confusion where some heidenhain, specifically those with ethernet, also refer to X26 as being ethernet.
So. In any case. V24 is where you should be connecting external data equeipment, computers etc. | |

The interface (v.24 block) is directly wired to the main board (le355 on x26) but with a crossed cable. I dont have ethernet on it.
Ive try it on the v.24 interface /control panel
