Topic: Syncronizing program start
|
By: wsl | Posted on: Jul 20 2018 at 11:27:31 AM | I have a 1998 Haas VF0 that I have been communicating to successfully with RemoCNC v5.0 (or previous) for years. This software was the only one that could synchronize the program start by sending two or three lines of code, pausing to reset communications at the machine, then resuming the send. After this, programs could be sent successfully. I believe the actual problem is in the buffer management in the Haas, but the work around has worked well for years.
Now I am getting a "waiting for CNC" message and the send will no longer resume. I have had other communications problems caused by Windows 10 updates.
Any ideas as to causes or solutions? | |

We do test on all Windows Updates but I never heard one cause this problem.
Would you contact us by email we can maybe discuss this in more detail and, hopefully, post a solution here in case anyone else has the same/similar problem.
To start with could you tell us the version of RemoDNC you're using (Click the small [?] question mark button to see the version number) Much as I'd like to blame Windows updates there's a fair chance that the problem is caused by some recent update in our software and knowing your version of RemoDNC might help us get to a solution quicker. Have you recently updated RemoDNC?
Thanks. | |

Sorry. I don't recognize that name. Are you saying that you've purchased the software but can't activate it?
Any problems like that please email
