Topic: Sending to an Arrow 500750

| By: Craig | Posted on: Sep 19 2013 at 08:45:05 PM | Good afternoon. Just got my hands on this program to trial, and so far so good.:)
Except. When sending files to an either an Arrow 500, or an Arrow 750, a Question Mark ?, is being placed at the very start of the first line. I tried slowing down the transmission, and changing flow control, but nothing is helping. Pulling a file from these machines, is not an issue at all, and no extra characters are in the file. Anybody ever see this before?

Thank you very much for that tip.. That indeed was the issue. I had it set to NONE. The Toyoda machine we have, was a no brainer, and I set it to Fanuc, and it worked a treat. The Arrows, I was unsure about. What can I say. Im the Systems Admin here, not a CNC Programmer. Guess I shouldnt have did all the cabeling and hookup, since now its mine. LMAO....

| By: Support | Posted on: Sep 19 2013 at 11:11:38 PM | Sorry Craig. The fault is actually ours. Yes, the Arrow machines work with fanuc mode because they're very similar but it should work with Mode=NONE (Auto) as well.
If you download and install again. Make sure it's 5.0.30 (or higher) and that ? question mark problem will go away. | |
