How do I remote request a program at a machine if machine doesn't allow me to type brackets "()"? Machine is a '91 takisawa with Fanuc o-t control with limited keyboard characters.

The UserGuide suggests using the following syntax.
%
O9999
(1234)
%
Machines that can't use (brackets) should also be able able to use.
%
O9999
P1234
%
So, prefix the fanuc Program number with the letter 'P'
