WE HAVE TO CALL IT UP ON THE COMPUTER FIRST THEN GO TO MACHINE AND PICK READ, THEN GO TO COMPUTER AND SEND. | |
| By: Guest | Posted on: Mar 3 2015 at 08:41:30 PM | When you READ at the CNC there may be a timeout and the CNC will not wait very long. Perhaps it takes too long for you to go to the computer, call up the program and send.
Are you using RemoDNC ? In DNC setup is an option "Wait for CNC..." Enable that option. Then you can call up the program on the computer and SEND and then go to the CNC and READ.

THE CNC IS NOT TIMING OUT, IF I HAVE A OPERATER AT THE COMPUTER AND YELL FOR HIM TO SEND IT, IT STILL WON'T WORK.
WE HAVE TO CALL IT UP ON THE DNC PROGRAM, THEN GO TO MACHINE TO READ ,THEN TO COMPUTER AND SEND.CABLE PIN OUT .

Select the "wait" option.
when you call the program up on the computer and click SEND then the computer will not send immediately. It should wait until you go to the CNC and READ.
Also consider trying newer version of RemoDNC
