Topic: Mori Seiki MV-55 DNC error when sending program
|
By: Zach | Posted on: Apr 17 2023 at 12:09:39 PM | I have a Mori Seiki MV-55 with what I believe to me a Fanuc 6M controller. I'm not entirely sure if that is the controller or not. When I send programs through easy dnc, I have errors at the beginning of lines, (example N157 X0.0 Y0.0 will be 0157 X0.0 Y0.0) that are seemingly random, as well as errors at the end of some lines, (example would be N157 G02 X2.0069 Y0.0000 I0.0000 J-2.0069 would come out at N157 G02 X2.0069 Y0.0000 I0.0000 J-2.69) The original baud rate was set at 600, and I was receiving errors then, I recently changed it to 4800, and I seem to get the same amount of errors, but it transfers much faster. The programs work when I manually edit them as the errors show up. I will get device type mismatch immediately upon sending the program, invalid break point of words, and radius out of tolerance. My connection is a usb to 9 pin, and then 9 pin to 25 pin. Is there a way to troubleshoot these errors and remove them? My settings are as follows, Mode: Fanuc, Com Port: Com 7 Format: Default Baud Rate: 4800 Data Bits and Parity: 7 bits, Even Parity Stop Bits: 2 Flow Control: XonXoff (DC1/DC3) Software End of Block: CRLF TX Timeout: Never (Default) Block Delay: 0 Remove (Comments)

You said block delay was set to zero. Try increasing that

Can you send the file to us here?
