I've got 16 Com Ports. Will this software support that many?

Sorry. Ignore my question. While I was posting the question my cnc guy had downloaded the trial and was testing it already - works great. Happy :)

Just wanted to come back and say we've upped this now to 24 com ports and all working fine.
Had a few head scratching minutes when the usb cables on the original boxes were unplugged and possible reconnected in different usb sockets or different order and windows gave them all different com port number.
Even if you just have one USB cable I'd say dab little color paint spots on the connector and computer just above the port so if anything is disconnected you can be sure to connect it all back up right.

James - are you using a usb to serial box? or 3 x 8 port (RS232) connected to your pc via single USB?
Thanks

Dave. it's a box with 8 rs232 ports on one side and one usb port connected to the computer. 3 of those so using 3 usb ports.
24 RS232 cables stretched over the shop from PC to individual CNCs isn't ideal though. If you're just setting out and you need quite a few CNCs connected over distance then I'd suggest looking at WIFI-to-RS232 boxes. That way you can place the boxes nearer the cnc machines and reduce cables.
